Peripheral Life & Style and The Peripheral Foundation are built on the same mission statement :
To empower individuals or groups to overcome social and financial boundaries to achieve their goals and dreams!
Peripheral LS is the for profit project that sells products to help raise money for any dream of the customers choice where the Peripheral Foundation raises funds directly to target specific dreams that our brand is directly involved in.
The first major project of the Peripheral Foundation is the:
Precious Plastic Cayman Initiative.
This project is focused on supporting the movement away from single use plastics. The Cayman Islands has recognized the problem with single use plastics and now The Peripheral Foundation has set its focus on creating solutions.
Problem: Alternatives to single use plastics are expensive and take extra work for both consumer and business.
Solution: Creative affordable alternatives.
The team at Peripheral LS and The Peripheral Foundation have been working on this project since Peripheral's inception in 2011. The last 7 years have brought us to this activation time line. It has been kicked off with securing the new home base location in the Strand right on Seven Mile Beach at the new Lodge Cayman's Eco Den. Below are the steps outlining the step by step process to give locals solutions to this global problem.
Our beaches and reefs are under attack from the very people who depend on them, us!
We need to work together to keep the plast out of the landfills, off our beaches and out of our oceans.

The goal of this project is to install and maintain these filter systems free of charge for the venders to stop selling single use plastic bottle and offer a more affordable alternative. The business will be able to sell the filtered water as there is a cost of sale that we need to respect for all business. The water will be priced according to the profit margin of single use plastic options based on serving size.
Help clean our beaches and save our oceans.
